State Farm® Insurance Agent Lindsey Weaver

"I have been with Statefarm since 2001, never a problem with company or agents , till recently , Miss Weaver has been my agent past 8 years or so , each year I contact her office with questions or concerns about my policies. Miss weaver and her staff have always been helpful and prompt . I have nothing bad to say about Miss weaver and feel she’s a fine agent . In January when I called , she informed me Statefarm has been charging me for non existent items to my home at higher rates . I told her I wasn’t aware of that, she said “ you couldn’t have known “ she was right , I confirmed it with customer care afterwards, I was also told I don’t have access to that info . Miss weaver tried to get me to switch companies and so did her manager during our phone conversation . I had difficulty reaching the office , i was even hung up on . Miss weavers staff sent me messages that State Farm will be reaching out to me , was to be a call not letter , we will work on getting this resolved before January 28th . No body called and nothing was resolved by 28th . I was having trouble reaching office . I contacted customer care , Miss Weaver told me she was instructed by her alias( underwriter) to ignore me . That wasn’t true because I was sent a letter by Statefarm to contact my agent to make changes so a refund could be issued . I did as instructed by Statefarm , make premium payment then refund will be issued , I did and still no refund , make changes then refund will be issued , still no refund and I paid 2 premiums so far at incorrect rate to avoid cancellation. This is not about cost tool , inflation or lack of discounts … its about over billing for non existent materials . State Farm agreed it’s their fault but still zero compensation. I had to contact customer care to arrange a call with office , Miss weaver put a 5 minute max , I had to negotiate 8 minutes , was not proper at all . Miss weavers messaged me saying you will not be coming to the office or discussing this over the phone , only text or email . I never met her or her staff and I’ve never been to office , I also never had heated conversations with any of them . Few weeks back , her staff member asked if she could help , we had a very nice conversation also spoke about NYC and Radio city at Christmas. Never any hostility as she wants to believe . Only a very frustrating situation which is costing me money , and brought to my attention by Miss weaver . I’m doing exactly what any customer should do if they just found out they have been overpaying for years as a result of a State Farm error . I was on hold about 15 minutes while customer care was negotiating a phone conversation with Miss weavers office , when I was connected , that staff member asked what could we do for you , i simply asked , you don’t know why I’m calling ??? They told me if I continue to raise my voice the call will be cut to 1 minute . I never raised my voice , I was on hold for 15 minutes so I’m certain they new exactly why the call was arranged . Miss weavers office forced me to rush through that call to make changes to policy , I did as instructed by State Farm and still no refund . I only asked that Miss weaver represent me and tell Statefarm what she told me , I have done nothing wrong . When Miss weaver called me for info about a complaint I filed with state farm she asked that I email and not text , she said everyone can see it and something about she could get fired , that told me she was definitely covering for or protecting someone, but wasn’t me , that was for sure . At one point she made me feel confident that I will be getting my money back , I trusted her .she or her office never contacted state farm when they said they did as I was told they did via message sent . State Farm told me , no body other than you has called in about your case , they had no record and if they had called it would have been attached to my file and was not , that was confirmed by customer care when I called to follow up on that . This office was blocking me .“ NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR “ certainly not there !!"
